Candidate Pay Rate: $44 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic radiographic exams with care and precision, prioritizing patient safety
Position patients and operate imaging equipment to produce clear, diagnostic-quality images
Collaborate with radiologists and clinical teams to ensure accurate imaging and timely results
Maintain accurate patient records and document procedures in the imaging system
Follow radiation safety and infection control protocols at all times
Deliver compassionate patient care, with sensitivity to pediatric patients and their families

Qualifications

Active ARRT certification or state-equivalent radiologic technologist registration preferred
Valid Missouri radiology license or ability to obtain prior to start
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification or willingness to obtain
Comfortable working in a hospital or specialty care environment; pediatric experience is a plus
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team

Education

Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or completion of an accredited radiography program
ARRT registry or equivalent preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Solid knowledge of radiographic positioning and imaging techniques
Experience operating X-ray equipment and using PACS/image management systems
Understanding of radiation safety principles and infection control practices
Attention to detail to ensure diagnostic-quality imaging
Ability to provide calm, reassuring patient interactions, especially with children and families
