Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: 4-hour shifts; days and exact start/end times to be determined by facility scheduling. Orientation required.

Candidate Pay Rate: $44 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic radiographic exams with care and attention to image quality
Ensure patient safety and comfort while following radiation safety protocols
Operate and maintain imaging equipment, reporting any issues promptly
Document procedures accurately in the patient's record and PACS
Collaborate with nurses and clinicians to provide seamless patient care
Participate in orientation and training to maintain high clinical standards

Qualifications

ARRT certification or registry-eligible is preferred
State radiologic technologist license or ability to obtain Missouri licensure
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain
Strong patient care skills and professionalism in a clinical setting
Comfortable working in a fast-paced imaging environment and following protocols

Education

Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

Solid understanding of radiographic positioning and exposure techniques
Radiation safety and ALARA principles
Experience with PACS and electronic documentation
Ability to assist with patient positioning, including pediatric and adult patients
Good communication skills for working with patients and clinical teams
Attention to detail for image quality and record keeping
