Roles & Responsibilities

Assess and evaluate patients using evidence-based practices and clinical reasoning
Develop individualized treatment plans that promote function and independence
Deliver skilled physical therapy interventions with compassion and clinical precision
Document patient progress clearly and timely in the medical record
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes
Educate patients and families on home programs, safe mobility, and injury prevention
Participate in orientation and training to maintain high-quality, consistent care

Qualifications

Active Washington State Physical Therapist license or eligible for licensure
Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree preferred
Current BLS/CPR certification
Experience in outpatient or pediatric settings is a plus
Excellent communication skills and a team-centered approach
Ability to pass background checks and meet facility onboarding requirements

Education

Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred; Bachelor of Science or related degree accepted with appropriate experience

Knowledge & Skills

Strong patient assessment and therapeutic exercise skills
Knowledge of pediatric rehabilitation approaches and adaptive equipment
Skilled in manual therapy techniques and therapeutic modalities
Proficient with clinical documentation and electronic medical records
Ability to collaborate effectively with nurses, physicians, and rehab staff
Time management skills to deliver efficient, high-quality care during concise shifts
