Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Part-time, 4-hour shift (exact days/times to be determined; orientation required)

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide skilled physical therapy interventions tailored to each patient
Assess function and create individualized treatment plans that make a measurable difference
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate comprehensive care
Document patient progress and treatment plans accurately and promptly
Engage patients and families with clear education and goal-setting
Participate fully in orientation and ongoing training to maintain high-quality care

Qualifications

Current California Physical Therapist license (required)
Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred; Bachelor's/Master's in Physical Therapy considered
Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
Experience or interest in pediatric care is a strong plus
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
Ability to pass background check and required onboarding screenings

Education

Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred; Bachelor’s or Master’s in Physical Therapy acceptable where applicable

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and treatment planning skills
Familiarity with pediatric therapy approaches and adaptive equipment
Manual therapy and therapeutic exercise techniques
Proficient documentation and clinical charting (EMR familiarity a plus)
Patient- and family-centered education skills
Team collaboration and interdisciplinary communication
