Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess patients’ functional mobility and design individualized treatment plans
• Deliver hands-on therapeutic interventions and progressive exercise programs
• Document patient progress clearly and timely to support continuity of care
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families on home programs, safety, and injury prevention
• Adapt care plans based on ongoing evaluation and changing patient needs

Qualifications

• Current California Physical Therapist license (required)
• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree preferred
• Active BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain prior to start)
• Proven clinical experience as a licensed Physical Therapist—experience in outpatient, inpatient, or rehabilitation settings is a plus
• Strong communication and documentation skills, comfortable with electronic medical records

Education

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred; Bachelor’s in Physical Therapy or related field considered

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, gait training, and functional mobility training
• Knowledge of musculoskeletal and neuromuscular rehabilitation principles
• Ability to perform objective assessments and measure outcomes
• Strong interpersonal skills for patient education and team collaboration
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment and adapting to caseload changes
