Contract Type: Per-Diem

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assess patients’ functional mobility and develop individualized outpatient treatment plans
Deliver skilled therapeutic interventions that improve strength, mobility, and quality of life
Document progress clearly and communicate treatment goals with patients and families
Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to coordinate care and ensure continuity
Educate patients and caregivers on home programs and injury prevention strategies

Qualifications

Licensed Physical Therapist in California (or eligible for state licensure)
Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent clinical degree preferred
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred
Strong interpersonal skills and a patient-centered approach
Previous outpatient experience is a plus but new grads with great clinical skills are encouraged to apply

Education

Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred; Master’s or equivalent considered

Knowledge & Skills

Evaluation and treatment of musculoskeletal and mobility impairments
Gait training, therapeutic exercise prescription, and manual therapy techniques
Excellent clinical documentation and outcome tracking
Effective verbal and written communication with patients and care teams
Ability to adapt treatment plans to individual patient needs
