Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide skilled occupational therapy interventions tailored to each patient
Assess functional abilities and develop individualized treatment plans
Document patient progress clearly and timely in the medical record
Collaborate with nurses, PTs, SLPs and the broader care team to optimize outcomes
Educate patients and families on strategies to maximize independence
Participate in orientation and ongoing training to maintain high standards of care

Qualifications

Licensed Occupational Therapist or eligibility for state licensure
Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
Current BLS/CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Strong communication and teamwork skills, with patient-centered focus
Ability to complete required orientation and credentialing

Education

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy

Knowledge & Skills

Assessment and treatment planning for activities of daily living
Therapeutic techniques to improve function and independence
Skilled documentation and use of electronic health records
Good clinical judgment and problem solving in fast-paced settings
Excellent interpersonal skills for patient and family education
