Roles & Responsibilities

Provide high-quality occupational therapy evaluations and individualized treatment plans
Deliver hands-on therapeutic interventions to improve patient function and independence
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care
Document patient progress and update care plans in the electronic medical record accurately and timely
Educate patients and families on strategies, adaptive equipment, and home programs to support recovery
Participate in orientation and onboarding activities to ensure smooth integration into the team

Qualifications

Active California license as an Occupational Therapist (required)
NBCOT certification or eligibility preferred
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification or willingness to obtain
Comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team
Excellent communication and documentation skills

Education

Master's or entry-level doctorate (OTD) in Occupational Therapy or equivalent degree required

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in OT evaluations, treatment planning, and adaptive equipment recommendations
Strong clinical reasoning and functional assessment abilities
Familiarity with common therapy documentation and charting practices
Ability to engage patients and families in goal-directed therapy
Team-oriented approach and effective interpersonal skills
