Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate bedside care to residents, focusing on dignity and comfort
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and document appropriately
- Monitor and report changes in resident condition to the care team promptly
- Collaborate with nurses, CNAs, and therapists to deliver coordinated care
- Assist with admissions, discharges, and care planning activities
- Maintain clean, safe environments and follow infection control protocols
Qualifications
- Current LPN license (Pennsylvania license or ability to obtain one)
- Completion of an accredited practical nursing program
- Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willing to obtain
- Comfortable with electronic charting and documentation
- Reliable, professional, and able to pass background and health screenings
- Strong communication and teamwork skills; patient-centered attitude
Education
- Graduate of an accredited LPN / Practical Nursing program
- High school diploma or equivalent
Knowledge & Skills
- Medication administration and safe documentation practices
- Basic assessment skills and recognizing changes in patient status
- Familiarity with long-term care or skilled nursing routines
- Good time management and prioritization during busy shifts
- Clear communication with residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams
