Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care during night shifts
Perform timely assessments and document patient status accurately
Administer medications and treatments safely and according to policy
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support care plans
Monitor patients, respond to changes, and escalate concerns as needed
Communicate clearly with patients, families, and staff to ensure continuity of care

Qualifications

Current LPN or RN licensure (as applicable) — ability to practice in Alabama required
Clinical experience in a relevant care setting is a plus
Strong communication and teamwork skills with a patient-first mindset
Willingness to work overnight shifts and adapt to per diem scheduling

Education

Completion of an accredited LPN or RN nursing program

Knowledge & Skills

Patient assessment and monitoring
Medication administration and safety practices
Accurate clinical documentation and charting
Basic emergency response and prioritization
Ability to work independently during night shifts while collaborating with team members
