Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hands-on nursing care to residents, ensuring dignity and comfort
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and document per facility policy
• Monitor and record vital signs, recognizing and escalating changes in condition
• Support activities of daily living (ADLs) and promote resident independence
• Collaborate with RNs, therapists, and the care team to develop and follow care plans
• Maintain clear, timely documentation and effective communication with residents and families
• Follow infection control procedures and maintain a safe care environment

Qualifications

• Active LPN license (required)
• Completed accredited practical nursing program or equivalent
• Current CPR/BLS certification (or willing to obtain)
• Comfortable administering medications and performing routine nursing procedures
• Local candidates only (per job notes)
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset

Education

• Diploma or certificate from an accredited practical nursing program (LPN)

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical skills typical of an LPN: medication administration, wound care, ADLs
• Ability to perform and interpret basic assessments and vital signs
• Competent documentation and charting practices
• Good interpersonal skills for working with residents, families, and care teams
• Knowledge of infection control and safety best practices
