Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per Diem, Night, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $29 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care during overnight shifts
Assess patient condition and document observations accurately and promptly
Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and facility protocols
Collaborate with nursing team and interdisciplinary staff to support care plans
Respond to patient needs and emergencies with calm, competent action
Maintain clear, timely communication with patients, families, and providers
Support a safe and clean care environment, following infection control standards

Qualifications

Active LPN or RN license in good standing (LPN or RN candidates welcome)
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
Experience in a clinical setting preferred; per diem or long-term care experience a plus
Strong clinical assessment and medication administration skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to work overnight shifts and adapt to varying patient needs

Education

LPN: Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
RN: Graduate of an accredited associate or bachelor nursing program (ADN/BSN preferred)

Knowledge & Skills

Fundamental nursing assessments and documentation
Medication administration and safety practices
Basic wound care and hygiene assistance
Familiarity with electronic health records and charting
Strong prioritization and time management on busy night shifts
Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams
