Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to patients in the assigned area
- Perform assessment, monitor vital signs, and document patient progress accurately
- Administer medications and treatments according to protocols and physician orders
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to develop and update care plans
- Educate patients and families about care plans, medications, and discharge instructions
- Maintain patient safety and adhere to infection control and facility policies
Qualifications
- Active LPN or RN licensure (Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse) — required
- Current BLS/CPR certification preferred or obtainable upon hire
- Ability to work the assigned day shift and adapt to facility scheduling needs
- Strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and compassionate patient care
Education
- Completion of an accredited Practical Nursing or Registered Nursing program (diploma, certificate, or associate degree as applicable)
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient in medication administration and documentation practices
- Skilled at patient assessment and monitoring
- Comfortable using electronic medical record systems
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Time management and prioritization in a fast-paced clinical setting
