Licensed Practical Nurse / Registered Nurse
Location: Albuquerque, NM
Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: Variable days (schedule not specified), 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM (Day shift)
Hours per Week: 38
Candidate Pay Rate: $28 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to adults in a rehab/health setting
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately according to orders
- Perform thorough patient assessments and document changes in condition
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
- Support patient mobility, rehabilitation activities, and discharge planning
- Maintain accurate, timely electronic health records and communicate effectively with families
Qualifications
- Active LPN or RN license in New Mexico (or eligibility to obtain state licensure)
- Current BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Prior experience in medical-surgical, rehabilitation, or long-term care preferred
- Strong clinical judgment, time management, and patient advocacy skills
- Up-to-date immunizations and ability to pass required health screenings
- Friendly, team-oriented approach with excellent communication skills
Education
- LPN: Completed accredited practical nursing program or diploma
- RN: Completed ADN/ASN or BSN program as applicable for RN licensure
Knowledge & Skills
- Medication administration and documentation best practices
- Ability to perform patient assessments, vitals, and focused nursing exams
- Familiarity with wound care and basic restorative nursing techniques
- Competence with electronic medical records and charting
- Skilled at patient education and discharge instruction
- Team collaboration, prioritization, and delegation skills
