Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care during night shifts, including assessments and monitoring
• Administer medications and treatments safely and according to policy
• Document patient status, interventions, and outcomes clearly in the medical record
• Collaborate with nursing and interdisciplinary teams to support patient care plans
• Respond quickly to changes in patient condition and escalate concerns appropriately
• Assist with admissions, discharges and patient education to support continuity of care

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in Alabama (or multistate license if applicable)
• Recent experience in a clinical setting preferred; per diem experience welcomed
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; additional certifications a plus
• Current immunizations and ability to pass background and health screenings
• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills

Education

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program (LPN)

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid clinical assessment and patient monitoring skills
• Safe medication administration and documentation practices
• Comfortable with electronic medical records (EMR) charting
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently on night shift
• Compassionate bedside manner and clear communication with patients and families
