Roles & Responsibilities

Provide attentive telemetry monitoring and deliver high-quality bedside nursing during the assigned shift
Assess patient status, document findings, and communicate changes promptly to the care team
Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility protocols
Perform accurate telemetry interpretation and escalate abnormal rhythms as needed
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care and safe handoffs
Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and discharge plans to support recovery

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California (required)
Experience working in telemetry nursing (Telemtry) — comfortable with cardiac monitoring
Availability to work per diem assignments on the scheduled date(s)
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Knowledge & Skills

Telemetry monitoring and familiarity with cardiac rhythm patterns
Patient assessment and clinical decision-making
Accurate electronic medical record documentation
Safe medication administration and basic IV therapy knowledge
