Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT imaging studies using GE and Siemens equipment, maintaining patient safety and image accuracy
• Prepare patients for exams, including IV starts when required, and provide compassionate patient care throughout the procedure
• Operate and troubleshoot PACS and charting systems (Epic, Fuji Synapse) to ensure timely image access and documentation
• Collaborate with radiologists and multidisciplinary teams to support diagnosis and patient flow in a Level 1 trauma acute care setting
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols and department procedures, including maintaining personal rad badge compliance
• Manage a steady exam volume (approximately 25 studies per day) with efficiency and attention to detail

Qualifications

• Certified CT Technologist — ARRT (CT) required
• BLS (AHA) certification required
• Minimum 2 years of CT experience preferred
• Experience with GE and Siemens CT scanners preferred
• Comfortable performing IV insertion and associated patient prep
• Ability to work weekends and holidays as required by the schedule
• Valid driver's license (DL) — must be submitted (60-mile radius requirement)

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in CT imaging principles and cross-sectional anatomy
• Experience with PACS systems, specifically Fuji Synapse, and Epic charting
• Skilled in IV insertion and patient monitoring during contrast studies
• Familiarity with both GE and Siemens CT platforms
• Strong patient care, communication, and teamwork abilities in a fast-paced acute care environment
• Ability to prioritize workflow across multiple scanners/rooms (department has 5 scanners)
