Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents and patients with dignity and respect
Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, toileting and mobility
Perform vital signs checks and report clinical changes promptly to the nursing team
Support safe patient transfers and use proper body mechanics at all times
Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control protocols
Document care accurately and timely in patient charts or EMR systems
Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to deliver person-centered care

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (required)
State of Pennsylvania CNA credentials in good standing
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred or willing to obtain
Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
Prior experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or similar setting is a plus

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Completed state-approved CNA program and current certification

Knowledge & Skills

Comfortable with direct patient care and activities of daily living
Knowledge of infection control and patient safety practices
Basic charting and documentation skills; attention to detail
Reliable, compassionate, and patient-focused approach
Ability to follow care plans and escalate concerns appropriately
