Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care and assist with activities of daily living
Monitor and document patient vital signs and condition changes accurately
Support safe patient transfers and mobility, using proper body mechanics
Maintain a clean, comfortable environment and follow infection control practices
Communicate clearly with nurses and care team members to ensure continuity of care
Assist with feeding, bathing, grooming, and toileting while preserving dignity
Accurately complete charting and care documentation in a timely manner
Participate in team huddles and contribute to a positive patient experience

Qualifications

Current CNA certification in Pennsylvania (required)
High school diploma or GED (preferred)
BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
Ability to pass background check and required health screenings/immunizations
Strong communication skills and a patient-centered attitude
Previous nursing assistant experience preferred but new grads welcome

Education

High school diploma or GED
State CNA certification (Pennsylvania) required

Knowledge & Skills

Comfortable with basic clinical skills: vital signs, ADL assistance, feeding
Familiarity with infection control and patient safety practices
Basic charting and documentation skills
Teamwork and collaboration with nurses and interdisciplinary staff
Professionalism, reliability, and the ability to prioritize patient needs
