Contract Type: Per-Diem

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming and mobility to preserve dignity and comfort
Take and document vital signs and report changes promptly to the nursing team
Support safe transfers and mobility, following facility policies and safety protocols
Communicate clearly with patients, families and interdisciplinary team members to ensure continuity of care

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification — Pennsylvania preferred
CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
Comfortable working an 8-hour clinical shift with attention to detail
Strong interpersonal skills and a patient-first mindset
Previous long-term care or skilled nursing experience is a plus

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Completed CNA training program and active CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

Basic clinical skills: vital signs, ADL assistance, infection control
Familiarity with charting and documentation best practices
Ability to follow care plans and communicate observations
Teamwork and effective communication in a fast-paced care setting
Compassionate approach to resident-centered care
