Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to residents and patients
Assist with activities of daily living: bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes to the nursing team
Support mobility and transfers safely using proper body mechanics
Document care provided clearly and timely in resident charts
Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team to ensure excellent patient outcomes

Qualifications

Valid CNA certification in Pennsylvania (or active, transferable certification)
Current basic life support (BLS) certification preferred or willing to obtain
Willingness to complete facility onboarding, background check, and health screenings
Dependable, empathetic, with strong communication and teamwork skills
Previous experience in long-term care or similar setting is a plus

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completed state-approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

Strong understanding of infection control and safety practices
Ability to take accurate vital signs and observe patient condition
Basic charting and documentation skills
Comfortable assisting with mobility and transfers
Good interpersonal skills for interacting with residents and families
