Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care and assist with activities of daily living (ADLs)
Take and accurately record vital signs and report changes to the nursing team
Assist with safe patient transfers, positioning, and mobility
Maintain clear, timely documentation of patient care and observations
Adhere to infection control, safety protocols, and facility policies
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team
Support admissions, discharges, and smooth shift-to-shift handoffs

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (state certification required; Georgia certification recommended)
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Ability to work 12.5-hour shift assignments as required
Successful background check and required health screenings/vaccinations as per facility policy
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
Previous patient-care experience preferred but new graduates with certification are encouraged to apply

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Current CNA certification (appropriate state/license required)

Knowledge & Skills

Fundamentals of patient care and assistance with ADLs
Vital signs measurement and basic patient assessment
Safe patient handling and transfer techniques
Infection control and standard precautions
Basic documentation skills and familiarity with electronic charts (EHR)
Empathy, patience, and clear communication with patients and team members
