Certified Nursing Assistant - Long Term Care
Location: Lancaster, PA
Start Date: 04-20-2026
Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: 8-hour shifts; specific start/end times and days not provided
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate daily care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
- Monitor resident condition and report changes promptly to nursing staff
- Assist with feeding, bathing, grooming, mobility and toileting with dignity
- Support a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents
- Document resident care and observations accurately and on time
- Collaborate with the care team to deliver person-centered care
Qualifications
- Current CNA certification (required)
- Active/valid CNA registration or license as required by Pennsylvania
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification preferred or willing to obtain
- Comfortable working as part of a multidisciplinary care team
- Strong communication skills and reliable attendance
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Completion of an accredited CNA training program and active certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of basic nursing assistant duties and resident care principles
- Ability to safely transfer and ambulate residents
- Familiarity with documentation practices in long-term care settings
- Compassionate bedside manner and respect for resident dignity
- Teamwork and effective communication with clinical staff
