Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: As scheduled, 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM NOC

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $22 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
Monitor and document vital signs, intake/output, and resident conditions accurately
Assist with safe transfers, ambulation, and mobility support to maintain independence
Communicate changes in resident status promptly to nursing staff and supervisors
Support meal assistance and feeding while honoring residents' preferences and dignity
Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control practices
Build trusting relationships with residents and their families through empathetic interaction

Qualifications

Current CNA certification in good standing
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Comfortable working night shifts (11:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
Basic competency in taking vitals, ADL assistance, and safe patient handling
Reliable, punctual, and able to work per-diem shifts as scheduled
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of resident care standards and safety protocols
Skill in taking and recording vital signs accurately
Familiarity with infection control and PPE use
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Patient-focused approach with attention to dignity and comfort
Basic charting and documentation skills
