Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care in alignment with MST scope
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Perform thorough patient assessments and monitor changes in condition
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care plans
• Document patient care and clinical findings clearly and promptly
• Educate patients and families on care plans, medications, and follow-up
• Escalate concerns and advocate for patient needs to ensure quality outcomes

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license — California license preferred
• Experience in nursing practice; MST experience is a plus
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS or specialty certifications helpful
• Strong clinical assessment, prioritization, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a per diem role and adapt to changing schedules

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities
• Medication administration and IV therapy competency
• Timely, accurate charting and electronic medical record familiarity
• Effective communication and teamwork with multidisciplinary staff
• Patient education and family-centered care approach
