Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic exams independently using Siemens X-ray systems, ensuring image quality and patient safety
• Provide fluoroscopy support and operate fluoroscopic equipment during procedures
• Deliver reliable operating room imaging support during surgical cases, following sterile and OR protocols
• Respond quickly and competently to trauma imaging requests at a Level 3 trauma center
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and image archiving in PACS
• Adhere to radiation safety standards and ensure proper equipment checks and maintenance
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other clinical staff to optimize patient care and imaging workflow
• Support on-call and weekend coverage as needed to maintain continuous imaging services

Qualifications

• Proven X-ray experience with Siemens equipment (required)
• Fluoroscopy and Operating Room imaging experience (required)
• Experience working in a Level 3 trauma center (required)
• Ability to work independently and confidently in fast-paced clinical settings (required)
• ARRT certification or equivalent and current state radiologic technologist licensure preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset

Education

• Completion of an accredited Radiography program (Associate degree or equivalent preferred)
• ARRT certification preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Thorough knowledge of radiographic and fluoroscopic imaging techniques
• Familiarity with operating room imaging protocols and sterile procedures
• Competence with Siemens X-ray hardware and software
• Ability to perform trauma imaging under pressure with excellent patient positioning skills
• Understanding of radiation safety principles and infection control
• Experience with PACS and electronic medical record documentation
