Candidate Pay Rate: $23 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care and assistance with activities of daily living
Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes to the nurse or supervisor
Assist with patient mobility, transfers, and safe use of assistive devices
Maintain clear, timely documentation of care and observations
Support infection control practices and maintain a clean, safe patient environment
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team to ensure coordinated care

Qualifications

Active CNA certification (California certification preferred)
Current CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
Previous experience as a CNA preferred but new grads with strong training are welcome
Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings
Reliable transportation and availability for per-diem shifts

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completion of an accredited CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

Comfortable providing hands-on patient care and personal hygiene assistance
Skilled in taking and charting vital signs and basic patient observations
Basic knowledge of infection control and patient safety practices
Good communication and teamwork skills with a positive, professional attitude
Ability to follow care plans and directions from nursing staff
