Shift Type: 4 days per week, 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM (day shifts) with rotating on-call nights, weekends and holidays (30-minute response); orientation 4-8 shifts. Rotating (day + on-call nights/weekends/holidays)

Roles & Responsibilities

• Operate the CT scanner to perform high-quality computed tomography exams for a broad patient population
• Perform general radiography and mobile X-ray studies, including C-arm pain exams
• Start IVs as needed for contrast-enhanced imaging
• Prepare and send studies to radiologists for interpretation using PACS workflows
• Complete required radiology paperwork and charting in MediTech accurately and timely
• Float between CT and general X-ray coverage as needed in a rural hospital setting
• Respond to on-call requests within the established 30-minute response window when scheduled

Qualifications

• Current ARRT(R) certification (required)
• NDMIRT certification (required)
• BLS certification (required)
• Solid hands-on experience in both CT and general X-ray (must have both)
• Comfortable starting IVs for contrast studies
• Previous travel experience preferred but not required
• Flexible on years of experience; hiring team is open to a range of backgrounds

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency with CT imaging and general radiography workflows
• Experience with McKesson PACS and MediTech charting systems
• Familiarity with Toshiba CT scanners, Siemens mobile and general X-ray equipment, and GE C-arm
• Strong image acquisition and positioning skills across a variety of studies
• Ability to manage radiology paperwork and study transmission to radiologists
• Good communication skills for working autonomously in a small/rural department
