Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess patients thoroughly and deliver compassionate, evidence-based nursing care
• Provide trauma-informed support tailored to patients affected by MST
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
• Document patient care clearly and timely in the electronic health record
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to create and follow individualized care plans
• Advocate for patient needs and ensure respectful, culturally sensitive care

Qualifications

• Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• Current BLS certification required; ACLS preferred where applicable
• Experience with trauma-informed care or working with MST populations is a strong plus
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate in a team environment
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts and provide compassionate patient-centered care

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN preferred)

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient assessment and clinical judgment skills
• Proficiency with medication administration and nursing procedures
• Familiarity with electronic health records and accurate documentation
• Trauma-informed care principles and sensitivity to PTSD/MST issues
• Effective communication with patients, families, and clinical teams
• Ability to prioritize and manage care in a fast-paced clinical setting
