Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate patient care and assist with activities of daily living
• Monitor and record vital signs, reporting changes promptly
• Support safe patient transfers and mobility with proper techniques
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection-control procedures
• Communicate clearly with nurses and care team to ensure continuity of care
• Document care activities accurately and timely in patient records

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential (required)
• Current BLS/CPR preferred or willing to obtain
• Ability to pass background check and meet facility health requirements (TB, immunizations)
• Comfort working overnight shifts and independently when needed
• Strong communication skills and a patient-centered attitude

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Current CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Assistance with ADLs (bathing, dressing, feeding)
• Basic vital signs measurement and recognition of changes
• Infection control and safe patient handling
• Accurate charting and documentation practices
• Team collaboration and clear communication with nursing staff
