Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with activities of daily living
• Monitor and report patient conditions to the nursing team promptly
• Assist with safe patient transfers, ambulation, and turning
• Support infection control and maintain a clean, safe environment
• Document care accurately and communicate effectively with colleagues
• Offer emotional support and respectful companionship to patients and families

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification (required)
• CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Comfortable working overnight shifts and handling active patient care
• Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
• Minimum experience: previous CNA experience preferred

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Completion of an accredited CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient hygiene, feeding, and toileting assistance
• Basic vital signs measurement and charting
• Safe patient handling and transfer techniques
• Infection prevention and proper PPE use
• Time management and prioritization in a busy clinical setting
• Compassionate bedside manner and effective teamwork
