Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care during assigned shifts
• Assess patients, monitor vital signs, and document changes in condition
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and discharge planning
• Escalate urgent issues and advocate for patient needs with professionalism

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license; California RN license preferred
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Prior acute care or med-surg experience preferred
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently on per diem assignments and adapt to different unit needs

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient assessment and clinical documentation
• Medication administration and IV therapy fundamentals
• Basic familiarity with electronic medical record systems
• Time management and prioritization in a fast-paced environment
• Strong interpersonal skills for working with patients, families, and clinical teams
