Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care that preserves dignity
• Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
• Take and accurately record vital signs and report changes to the care team
• Support safe transfers and positioning to prevent falls and injuries
• Maintain clear, timely documentation in the patient record
• Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean care environment
• Collaborate with nurses and allied health staff to deliver coordinated care

Qualifications

• Current, active CNA certification (required)
• CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Comfortable working 12-hour day shifts in a per diem capacity
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate bedside manner
• Ability to pass facility background checks and required screenings

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

• Fundamentals of patient care and activities of daily living
• Basic vital signs assessment and documentation
• Safe patient handling and transfer techniques
• Infection prevention and standard precautions
• Effective teamwork and clear communication with clinical staff
• Time management and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
