Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality outpatient speech-language pathology services, including comprehensive evaluations and individualized treatment plans
• Deliver evidence-based therapy to address communication, cognition, voice, and swallowing disorders
• Document patient progress accurately and timely in the electronic health record
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate care and optimize patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families with clear, compassionate instruction and home program guidance
• Maintain professional licensure and certifications, and participate in ongoing professional development

Qualifications

• Current Nebraska license in Speech-Language Pathology (required)
• American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers (required)
• Active clinical skills in assessment and treatment of a broad range of speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders
• Ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary outpatient team and adapt to facility protocols
• Strong documentation skills and a commitment to meeting performance expectations

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in standardized and informal assessment techniques for pediatric and/or adult populations as relevant to the outpatient setting
• Proficiency in developing individualized, evidence-based treatment plans
• Clear communication and patient education skills
• Comfortable with clinical documentation and productivity expectations
• Team collaboration and time-management abilities
