Location: Lancaster, PA

Start Date: 04-05-2026

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: 8-hour shifts (exact start/end times and scheduled days to be confirmed with facility; typical 8-hour day/evening assignments)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $30 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care and support daily living activities
Assist patients with bathing, dressing, toileting and mobility
Measure and document vital signs and report changes in condition
Maintain accurate patient records and communicate clearly with the nursing team
Support admissions, discharges and safe patient transfers
Follow infection control protocols and help maintain a clean, safe environment

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (PA preferred)
CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
Comfortable assisting with activities of daily living and basic patient care
Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings
Reliable, compassionate, and a true team player

Education

High school diploma or GED and completion of an accredited CNA program

Knowledge & Skills

Strong basic patient care skills (ADLs, mobility assistance)
Familiarity with vital sign measurement and documentation
Knowledge of infection control and safe patient handling
Good communication skills with patients and interdisciplinary teams
Ability to learn and navigate electronic medical records
