Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care and assist residents with daily living activities
• Perform personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming and feeding with dignity
• Monitor and record vital signs and report any significant changes to the nursing team promptly
• Maintain accurate documentation and support care plans to ensure continuity
• Assist with safe patient transfers and mobility, using proper body mechanics
• Support a clean, safe and therapeutic environment for residents and families
• Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary staff to deliver high-quality care

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential — must be active in Pennsylvania
• Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Ability to pass background checks, drug screening, and facility onboarding requirements
• Comfortable with hands-on patient care and working as part of a fast-paced care team
• Strong communication skills and a professional, patient-centered attitude

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completed accredited CNA training program and state certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic nursing care and infection control practices
• Skillful in assisting with ADLs (activities of daily living) and safe patient handling
• Familiarity with charting and electronic health record documentation is a plus
• Good observation and reporting skills to relay changes in patient condition
• Teamwork, time management, and a positive bedside manner
