Location: Lancaster, Pennsylvania

Contract Type: Per-Diem
Hours per Week: 40

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, focusing on dignity and comfort
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, feeding, mobility)
- Take and record vital signs and report changes to the nursing team promptly
- Document resident interactions and care accurately and professionally
- Support a safe, clean environment and adhere to infection-control protocols
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and colleagues to promote excellent care
- Participate in care planning and team huddles to ensure coordinated resident care
Qualifications
- Active CNA certification in Pennsylvania (required)
- Current CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain
- Compassionate bedside manner and strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to perform physical tasks associated with resident care (lifting, transfers) safely
- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow facility policies and protocols
- Previous CNA experience preferred but enthusiastic new CNAs are encouraged to apply
Education
- High school diploma or GED (preferred)
- Completed CNA training program and active CNA certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Resident-centered care and ADL support
- Basic vital signs and clinical observation
- Documentation and charting best practices
- Infection control and hygiene standards
- Strong communication and teamwork in a clinical environment
- Time management and prioritization during busy shifts
