Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare and set up EP and cardiac cath lab systems (Philips, GE, Carto, Ensite) so procedures run smoothly
• Assist physicians during EP studies and ablations, performing precise stimming and intra-procedural monitoring
• Operate and troubleshoot cath lab equipment and imaging systems to support high-quality patient care
• Maintain accurate procedure and patient documentation in Meditech and GE Mac Lab
• Apply sterile technique and safety protocols to protect patients and the clinical team
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and techs to coordinate efficient patient flow and positive outcomes
• Educate and comfort patients before, during, and after procedures to reduce anxiety and improve experience

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab or Electrophysiology (EP) experience, with Electrophysiology stimming experience required
• Demonstrated experience with EP Study Ablation, LHC/PCI, and TAVR procedures preferred
• Hands-on experience with Philips, GE, Carto, and Ensite systems and with Meditech/GE Mac Lab EMRs
• Current basic life support (BLS) required; advanced certifications (ACLS, PALS) preferred where applicable
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced interventional environment and follow sterile procedures
• Travel-ready mindset, professional communication, and strong critical thinking under pressure

Education

• High school diploma or GED required
• Completion of an accredited Cath Lab Tech program or equivalent training preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Deep familiarity with Electrophysiology procedures, including stimming techniques
• Skilled in cardiac cath lab workflows, device setup, and imaging coordination
• Proficient using Philips and GE imaging suites and navigation systems (Carto, Ensite)
• Comfortable with Meditech and GE Mac Lab for documentation and reporting
• Strong patient monitoring, infection control, and sterile field management
• Excellent teamwork, communication, and situational awareness in high-acuity settings
