Roles & Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients thoroughly and develop individualized treatment plans based on physician orders
- Deliver therapeutic procedures and modalities to restore strength, range of motion, and coordination
- Implement pain management strategies that help patients regain function and comfort
- Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatments to achieve the best outcomes
- Collaborate with referring physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care
- Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and injury prevention
- Adhere to the California State Practice Act and facility policies to ensure safe, compliant care
Qualifications
- Current California Physical Therapist License (required)
- Demonstrated ability to evaluate and treat patients using therapeutic procedures and modalities
- Comfortable developing and implementing treatment plans focused on strength, ROM, coordination, and pain management
- Strong documentation skills and ability to collaborate with physicians and care teams
- Professional, compassionate approach to patient care with good communication skills
