Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality patient care using the nursing process to achieve excellent outcomes
• Interpret cardiac rhythms and monitor patients closely during procedures
• Perform scrubbing and circulating duties in the Cath Lab with precision and safety
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and optimize patient flow
• Provide physical and psychological support to patients and their families during interventions
• Document care accurately in MediTech and maintain up-to-date skills checklists
• Adhere to hospital policies, state licensing requirements, and AHA certification standards

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of Cath Lab experience required
• Active Arkansas Radiologic Technologist License required
• Current American Heart Association ACLS required
• Current American Heart Association BLS required
• Proven ability to interpret cardiac rhythms and perform scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring
• Current skills checklist relevant to Cath Lab (within 1 year) required
• Two supervisory reference forms completed within the last two years required
• Clear work history demonstrating Cath Lab competency and professional conduct

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid understanding of the nursing process and patient-centered care
• Experience with Cath Lab procedures and cardiac rhythm interpretation
• Strong patient/family communication and interdisciplinary collaboration skills
• Competence in patient monitoring and providing physical and psychological support
• Familiarity with MediTech EMR (preferred) and accurate clinical documentation
• Ability to function effectively in fast-paced procedural environments
