Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents at Andover Manor Rehab & Nursing
- Administer medications and treatments safely and according to facility protocols
- Assess resident condition, monitor changes, and communicate updates to the care team
- Document care accurately and promptly to support continuity and compliance
- Collaborate with CNAs, therapists, and providers to deliver coordinated care plans
- Support resident dignity and comfort while promoting mobility and independence
Qualifications
- Current, valid LPN or RN license (appropriate to practice as LPN or RN)
- Relevant clinical experience in long-term care, rehab, or skilled nursing preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification or willingness to obtain it
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude
- Ability to pass facility onboarding, background checks, and any required health screenings
Education
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing or registered nursing program
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid knowledge of medication administration and documentation best practices
- Familiarity with wound care, restorative nursing, and mobility assistance
- Comfortable using electronic health records and charting accurately
- Good assessment skills to identify subtle changes in resident condition
- Team-oriented approach and the ability to mentor and support colleagues
