Roles & Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' physical abilities and develop individualized treatment plans
• Deliver hands-on therapy and therapeutic exercise to restore function and mobility
• Monitor patient progress, adjust interventions, and document outcomes clearly
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care
• Educate patients and caregivers on home programs and injury prevention
• Ensure compliance with facility policies, clinical standards, and documentation requirements

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted Physical Therapist license for Alabama (or ability to obtain prior to start)
• BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
• Experience in inpatient/outpatient rehabilitation or similar clinical settings preferred
• Strong patient communication skills and ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Ability to travel to and work onsite at the assigned facility for the full contract period

Education

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree in Physical Therapy

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in patient assessment, therapeutic exercise, and manual therapy techniques
• Familiarity with rehabilitation modalities and adaptive equipment
• Competent clinical documentation and use of electronic medical records
• Strong clinical reasoning and outcome-driven treatment planning
• Excellent time management, organization, and patient education skills
