Hours per Week: 35

Candidate Pay Rate: $42 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide skilled occupational therapy services to patients under the supervision of the OT team
Implement individualized treatment plans focused on activities of daily living and functional independence
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care and maximize patient outcomes
Document treatment sessions, progress, and discharge recommendations clearly and timely
Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic techniques, home programs, and adaptive strategies
Contribute to a positive, safety-focused environment that promotes patient dignity and recovery

Qualifications

Current COTA (Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant) credential
Eligible for or holding any state licensure/registration required to practice in West Virginia
Comfortable working in a rehabilitation/contract facility setting
Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
Ability to follow established treatment plans and document accurately

Education

Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
Current COTA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in ADL training and functional rehabilitation techniques
Ability to perform patient assessments and implement treatment interventions
Good clinical reasoning and the ability to adapt interventions to patient needs
Clear documentation practices and attention to regulatory requirements
Strong interpersonal skills for working with patients, families, and the care team
