Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to patients in the Doctor's Rehab area
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and document all care in the medical record
• Support rehabilitation plans by assisting patients with mobility, ADLs, and restorative activities
• Monitor patients' clinical status, report changes promptly, and participate in interdisciplinary care planning
• Educate patients and families about care plans, medications, and discharge instructions
• Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and physicians to deliver coordinated patient-centered care
• Contribute to a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for patients and visitors

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in Maryland (required)
• Completion of an accredited practical nursing program
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from a recognized provider (preferred)
• Previous experience in rehab, skilled nursing, or long-term care is a plus
• Ability to work every other weekend as part of a rotating schedule
• Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing (LPN/LVN) program

Knowledge & Skills

• Medication administration and accurate documentation
• Basic wound care and restorative nursing principles
• Familiarity with rehabilitation patient needs and ADL support
• Comfortable using electronic medical records and standard clinical forms
• Excellent interpersonal skills for patient and family education
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced clinical setting
