Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (Day shift); Every other weekend required (rotating weekends)
Hours per Week: 37
Candidate Pay Rate: $32 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to patients in the Doctor's Rehab area
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and document all care in the medical record
- Support rehabilitation plans by assisting patients with mobility, ADLs, and restorative activities
- Monitor patients' clinical status, report changes promptly, and participate in interdisciplinary care planning
- Educate patients and families about care plans, medications, and discharge instructions
- Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and physicians to deliver coordinated patient-centered care
- Contribute to a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for patients and visitors
Qualifications
- Active LPN license in Maryland (required)
- Completion of an accredited practical nursing program
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from a recognized provider (preferred)
- Previous experience in rehab, skilled nursing, or long-term care is a plus
- Ability to work every other weekend as part of a rotating schedule
- Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
Education
- Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing (LPN/LVN) program
Knowledge & Skills
- Medication administration and accurate documentation
- Basic wound care and restorative nursing principles
- Familiarity with rehabilitation patient needs and ADL support
- Comfortable using electronic medical records and standard clinical forms
- Excellent interpersonal skills for patient and family education
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced clinical setting
