Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-quality critical care to ICU and PCU patients
- Continuously assess and monitor patient condition and respond to changes
- Administer medications, titrate infusions and manage advanced therapies per protocol
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to create and implement individualized care plans
- Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments and discharge plans
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and ensure compliance with unit policies
- Participate in unit performance improvement, safety initiatives and team huddles
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Nebraska or eligibility for compact licensure
- Current BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required or willingness to obtain per facility policy
- Previous experience in ICU or PCU settings preferred
- Comfort working both day and night shifts and adapting to varying patient acuity
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking and teamwork skills
Education
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Telemetry monitoring and interpretation
- Familiarity with ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring
- IV medication administration and infusion titration
- Electronic health record documentation proficiency
- Clear patient and family communication and education
- Effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and escalation when needed
