Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, resident-centered care and support daily needs
- Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and feeding
- Monitor residents and promptly report changes in condition to the care team
- Document care accurately and in a timely manner
- Support safe mobility and transfers using appropriate techniques
- Follow infection control and facility safety protocols
- Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and the interdisciplinary team to deliver excellent care
Qualifications
- Current CNA certification; T-CNA classification noted for this role
- Comfortable working the listed day shift (6:45 AM - 3:00 PM)
- Reliable personal transportation required; facility notes Uber is not a reliable option
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work positively with a team
- Prior experience in long-term care or similar settings is a plus
Education
- CNA / T-CNA certification (current)
Knowledge & Skills
- Hands-on experience with resident care and ADLs
- Basic clinical skills such as vital signs and observation
- Accurate documentation and time management
- Infection control and safe patient handling
- Compassionate bedside manner and strong interpersonal skills
