Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting) with compassion and dignity
- Support safe transfers and mobility, using proper body mechanics and lift assistance when needed
- Take and record vital signs and report any changes in condition promptly to nursing staff
- Provide attentive, person-centered care while documenting observations and care delivered
- Collaborate with the care team to plan and deliver individualized support
- Create a warm, respectful environment that promotes resident comfort and independence
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification — required
- T-CNA (temporary or travel CNA) credential noted for this role
- Comfort working a 12+ hour daytime shift (6:30 AM - 6:45 PM)
- Willingness to commit to a 14-week travel assignment (2026-03-05 to 2026-06-06)
Knowledge & Skills
- Hands-on patient care and assistance with ADLs in long-term/post-acute settings
- Basic vital sign measurement and observation/reporting skills
- Clear, compassionate communication with residents, families, and team members
- Reliable documentation and charting of care activities
- Teamwork mindset and ability to follow care plans and supervisor direction
