Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care on a 60-bed Med-Surg/Telemetry unit
• Monitor telemetry and respond to changes in patient condition with clinical judgment
• Administer medications and manage IV therapy using Alaris pumps safely and accurately
• Document patient care thoroughly in Epic to ensure continuity and clear communication
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement patient care plans
• Float to assigned units (6E, acute rehab, geriatric psych) as needed and adapt care accordingly
• Support a positive patient experience by treating patients and team members with respect and cultural sensitivity

Qualifications

• Active RN license eligible to submit (License to submit: Yes)
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience (explicit requirement)
• BLS Certification required
• Comfortable with telemetry and medical-surgical patient populations
• Driver's license required at time of submittal (used to confirm radius eligibility)
• Willingness to take and pass an orientation pass/fail exam (90% required to continue)
• Ability to follow facility policies (e.g., no artificial nails for patient care areas)
• Team player with a positive attitude and cultural sensitivity (Korean language skill preferred)

Knowledge & Skills

• Clinical telemetry monitoring and interpretation
• Medical-surgical nursing best practices and post-surgical care
• Epic EMR charting and documentation
• Alaris IV pump operation and IV medication administration
• Ability to float between units, including acute rehab and geriatric psych
• Strong communication, teamwork, and cultural competency (serving diverse populations)
