Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage ventilators and provide advanced ventilator support for critically ill ICU patients
• Perform and interpret ABGs to guide respiratory interventions
• Assist with intubations and provide support during bronchoscopies
• Administer and manage HFNC, nebulized therapies, and nitric oxide when indicated
• Operate and troubleshoot ventilator platforms such as Hamilton C1, V60, PB980 and related devices
• Document patient care thoroughly in Meditech EMR and communicate changes to the team
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied staff to deliver coordinated, patient-centered care
• Float across hospital areas as needed to support unit staffing and patient needs

Qualifications

• CRT or RRT required (active credential required)
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year ICU experience (ICU experience is a must-have)
• Experience with ventilator platforms (Hamilton C1, V60, PB980) and Nitric management preferred
• CVICU experience is a plus and will be considered first
• Comfortable providing care across all hospital areas and working rotating weekends

Knowledge & Skills

• Advanced ventilator management and troubleshooting
• Arterial blood gas (ABG) sampling and interpretation
• Support for intubation and bronchoscopy procedures
• High-flow nasal cannula (HFNC) and nebulizer therapy management
• Nitric oxide therapy knowledge
• Familiarity with Meditech EMR for documentation
• Strong teamwork, communication, and patient advocacy skills
• Ability to adapt to varied unit needs and fast-paced ICU environments
