Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care for outpatient cardiology patients following established standards and best practices
• Coordinate patient care with providers and clinic staff to ensure smooth, timely visits and follow-up
• Serve as the primary liaison between patients, providers, and clinical teams to advocate for patient needs
• Perform cardiac assessments including EKG interpretation and monitoring for arrhythmias
• Administer cardiac medications and assist with cardiac procedures per clinic protocols
• Document patient care accurately and communicate care plans to providers and team members
• Support a compassionate, patient-centered approach that builds strong provider–patient relationships

Qualifications

• MT Registered Nurse (RN) licensure required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required
• Comfortable with EKG interpretation and cardiac monitoring
• At least 2 years of cardiac nursing experience preferred
• Basic coronary class certification required (as noted)
• Ability to pass pre-employment screenings (background check, drug screen, health/immunizations)

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program

Knowledge & Skills

• Understanding of cardiac arrhythmias and cardiac medications
• Familiarity with cardiac procedures and office-based cardiology workflows
• Medical terminology and basic nursing principles and procedures
• Key boarding skills and basic office skills for smooth clinic operations
• Strong communication and patient care coordination abilities
